We are a marching band featuring 30 playing members and 7 colorguard. We are from the Greater Williamsport, PA Area on the western half of Lycoming County.
As a member of the Tournament of Bands, we compete as a Group 1 band at a variety of competition sites, including a home competition in September and the Chapter 4 Championships the first weekend of November. We also play at all home and away football games and exhibitions at the Lycoming County Band Exhibition in Williamsport and at the Bloomsburg Fair.
THIS YEAR'S SHOW
The program for the 2000/2001 Jersey Shore High School Marching Band is "Latin Jazz".
This program includes:
Canzon by Jay Dawson. This enchanting and extremely rhythmic melody will keep the crowd on the edge of their seats!
Los Cuervos by Jay Dawson. A lighter but energy packed piece featuring the brass section.
Elwood's Blues by Bob Dubinski. This piece features an all percussion band. This jazzy number will have heads boppin' and toes tappin' along to the groove!
Escazu by Jay Dawson. This thrilling closer to our show opens with a giant fanfare and takes off on a rocket ride to the end.
